This book is our own production, made with Brainfusion’s local AI flow. The director (pi) distills the English source directly into an English essence — per chapter a core scene, a metaphor and the source logic — and the local AI then writes native English, without a separate translation step. The story was generated by gemma4:26b-mlx. The illustrations are made with FLUX.1-dev (ComfyUI) in Ghibli style, with PuLID for face consistency — Grandpa Elias is the face anchor, so he stays the same across all twelve plates. Per chapter, qwen3.8:27b-mlx generates the scene from the chapter text and also automatically checks the quality of each illustration. The original source notes from the book Reportage — 21 sources — are included at the back of the book as searchable text with archive links. The story is based on chapter 13, “The 9/11 Whistleblowers,” from the book Reportage by James Corbett (corbettreport.com). We have no affiliation with James Corbett or his website. We thank James for his inspiring work, which we are honoured to build upon. Everything runs on our own hardware — no external AI service, no account, no data leaving the door.
